Goal: To pool gold and hand the gold to a member scheduled to receive the gold.
How It Works: • Each round lasts a week which starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday • To be able to join the pool, you need to deposit 100 gold every week in the Guild Bank • You will continue to deposit gold until everyone finishes their turn • Every Saturday, whatever the amount of gold saved for that week will be given to one (1) member. A schedule will be followed on who will receive the gold for that week
Why should I join? This will force you to save up gold which could be handy in the future. You also indirectly help out guild members by "lending" them your gold. You will see this worth doing if there are lots of members.
Still confused? Check the example below. Example: Tenshi, Karihe, Madaraa, Susumu and Nitari each deposits 100g making the pool worth 500g.
Sample Schedule:
Week
Receiver
# of Deposits x Amount
Amount to Receive
1
Madaraa
5 x 100g
500g
2
Tenshi
2 x 100g
200g
3
Karihe
5 x 100g
500g
4
Nitari
5 x 100g
500g
5
Susumu
4 x 100g
400g
As you can see from the schedule, you need to deposit gold until everyone gets their share. This is almost like depositing money to a bank with the benefit of helping out others. You don't lose any money because everyone receives only the total amount of gold they deposited (see sample above).
Interested in joining? Because this involves money, not everyone can join especially if you are new and inactive. At the moment, only Officers, Veterans and referrals from the two groups mentioned are allowed to join. So, tell me more about this... festival...
This is probably a thing I'd be interested in doing in the future. 'Cause most importantly I don't have enough gold right now.Whoops. Also I should hang around the guild a few more months before hopping in on this. but other than that it sounds like it could be a good idea for the guild.
I'll throw in free cash: prolly like 50g a week? I don't want anything out of it, just free gold for guildies! "If something is done for the right reasons, it is because that action was done for someone else!"
Awesome! This will turn out better with more people. And Aizon, either way, if ever the time comes where you need it, just take your pooled money xD So, tell me more about this... festival...
